What this site stores, what it counts, and what it does not do. Short, because there is not much of it.

This site sets no cookies

Nothing here writes a cookie. Your choice of light or dark theme is kept in your browser’s local storage, on your device, and is never sent anywhere — clearing your site data removes it. If you arrive at an address with no language in it, the language you are sent to is decided from your browser’s own Accept-Language header, for that one request.

Visits are counted, and only in aggregate

Page views are counted by Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it records that a page was viewed, from roughly where and on what kind of device, and builds no profile and no identifier that follows you to another site. I see totals, never people. It runs on the live site only — not on previews, and not when the site is run locally.

The server keeps ordinary logs

The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers keep the usual request logs — address requested, time, IP, user agent — for a limited period, as any web server does. That is their processing, under their terms, not something this site asks for or reads.

If you write to me

The address on this site is an ordinary mailbox. If you email me, I keep the email; that is all. There is no form, no newsletter, no list, and nothing to unsubscribe from.

If any of this stops being true, this page changes with it — it describes the code, and the code is public.
